"Open area" describes the degree of openness the company configures internally; it does not imply public access, nor does it override licenses, corporate policies or the authorizations of connected services. Active anonymization is governed at company level and applies equally to every area.
Roles and permissions
Permissions defined by capabilities, not by job titles
Each role groups specific permissions over the platform's modules: who manages users, who creates libraries, who defines rules, who views consumption. The company can use the predefined roles, create its own, or start from a copy of an existing one and adjust it.

Administration
Platform administration through conversation, with no dependence on a technical team
In addition to the administration panel, the platform can be configured by conversing with NiuCore. The administrator asks, for example, "create a Litigation area with these five users and restrict its models to the approved providers," and NiuCore carries out the configuration. Before each action it verifies the permissions of the person requesting it and the availability of licenses; a user cannot do anything through this channel that their role does not allow from the panel.

What is AI governance and how does NiuCore apply it?
AI governance is the set of rules, responsibilities and controls that define how an organization uses artificial intelligence: who has access, to which models and tools, with what information and under what criteria. NiuCore applies it inside the platform, not only in a document: active anonymization protects data in every conversation, company and area rules apply automatically, each area defines which models, connectors and libraries its members use, and consumption is recorded by area, person and model.
How many areas can a company create?
There is no limit. Areas, libraries, rules and skills are unlimited in every license.
Can a user belong to several areas?
Yes. The user accesses the resources of the areas they belong to, and rules add up: the company's global rules and those of their areas apply to their conversations.
Do an area's rules replace the company's?
No. Rules add up: the company's global rules always apply, together with the area's. It is advisable to write them so they do not contradict each other.
Can anonymization be configured per area?
No. It is governed at company level and applies to every area. What is configured per area is the six dimensions described on this page.
